THE HAMILTON COUNCIL ON AGING AIMS TO:

  • Improve awareness of and access to:
    • financial entitlements for low-income seniors
    • community support services for all seniors, particularly those from diverse ethno-cultural communities
  • Engage in community education on a wide variety of issues related to aging
  • Encourage and facilitate research on aging in Hamilton
  • Ensure the active participation of seniors from Hamilton and surrounding areas
