The Hamilton Council on Aging envisions a community that respects and values its older adults, and provides them with the opportunity to participate fully in society.

The Hamilton Council on Aging exists to educate and advocate for improved aging experiences for older adults through a collaborative network of individuals and organizations.

DISCOVER REWARDING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE COUNCIL

HCoA is seeking both English speaking volunteers and those with additional language skills. Volunteer opportunities are open to all seniors and others who wish to use their skills in the following ways:

  • Working with low-income seniors who may need assistance with accessing financial benefits.
  • Delivering information and education sessions to seniors, families and caregivers in ethno-cultural communities about health and community support services.
  • Attending a Focus Group for Age-Friendly Hamilton
  • Join one of our Community Advisory Committees
